Are you curious about meditation or mindfulness? (they are actually the same thing.) If you are then great you’re in the right place, I would love to introduce you to the practice of meditation. As a qualified meditation teacher BSoM, I can guide you through what may seem a bit mystical or elite and only something for certain types of people. 

Meditation in my own life (read my story)

My 5-week program is designed to introduce you to the basics of meditation practice, My course is designed for you to discover what mindfulness is all about and how it can start to benefit your life. During your individual 5-week program, you’ll learn what meditation is and isn’t, we will be looking at the common myths surrounding meditation, some basic history and of course, some amazing science about how meditation can benefit our mind and body.

You’ll practice a variety of different types of meditation and, through reflection, discover which types most serve you. At the end of the course, you will be confident enough to explore your own practice further, Should you wish to. 

Discover meditation is a one-to-one 5-week course of 75 minutes with some home practice and journaling.

As a BSoM qualified teacher, I work within a strict code of conduct; whilst the roots of meditation practice are religious, my teaching has no religious affiliation. 

Why do a one-to-one course and not just use a free app?

Using a free meditation or mindfulness App is a great idea. However, a one-to-one course is structured and we will work through various types of meditation, giving you a much better feel for what you may find works for you.

One-to-one sessions work similarly to that of a personal trainer for fitness; you are progressing each week rather than just being left to do your own thing!
